6 weeks!

Nicholas is six weeks old. He weighs around 11 pounds and is around 23 inches long. He has decided sleeping is for the birds. He will do one 3-4 hour stretch and then must be in our bed nursing for the rest of the night on and off. Surprisingly I am not TOO tired. I start a new part time job next week and I am a little nervous about leaving. He will not take a binky, and has gotten funny about being away from me. Cried the entire time I went to the grocery store and left him with daddy.

One month old

Nicholas is one month old. He is smiling socially and has amazing head control. He sleeps mostly through the night with 4-6 hour stretches. He hates to be swaddled. We are nursing exclusively other than about 8oz of donated breastmilk per day. He weighs around 10lbs and is now beginning to gain weight well.

Introducing

A new little person. We went from a family of three to a family of four since the last time I updated this blog. We introduced another beautiful little boy Nicholas Aaron on September 18th, 2012 via emergency c-section.

A big boy...9lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches long.
