Busy weekend! And life!

This weekend went by in a flash. I worked Sat/Sun nannying, and I walked for Turtle Patrol on Sat/Sun. And WE FOUND OUR FIRST NESTS!!! That was so extremely exciting! It was so amazing to see the tracks on the sand, and to see the pit that they dig, and the very tip of the top egg. I couldnt believe we found one on Saturday and one on Sunday! And we found a false crawl on Saturday too! Great weekend for turtles apparently.

I also got supplies ready for class this week, we are doing an Ocean unit (a short one) and I have been collecting shells, and getting materials ready for projects this week. I think it will be a fun week, and the kids will have a great time!

I also finished an 8 page paper on authentic assessment. Yeah I know, who the heck would want to read 8 pages on that? No one. But its done and that is what counts.
