Summer is here and the heat has risen. We are walking weekends with Turtle Patrol and I am continuing to volunteer with the animal rescue. I have also been "mentoring" or hanging out with a little boy from my class. He is awesome and really needs some one on one time with someone who cares. Its been really fun taking him to various fun places and spending time with him.
Working part time has been nice, it has definitely afforded me more time to do some things (like clean my house, or work on my portfolio). I have recently started sewing with the machine I got for Christmas, which has been nice.
So all in all its been a pretty nice summer so far. Only 5 more weeks left which is devastating! And I still have NO idea where I will be next year. I have one school that I hope to be at, but its not for sure (at all!). I am applying for various jobs with little hope of a call. But who can know what will happen. All I can do is pray and continue to do everything that I have been doing thus far.

Cassy the foster puppy!
She is staying with us until she can find a forever home. Its been very tiring! Puppies are a LOT of work!
