15 weeks!

I am 15 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Yup that means I have only 5 months and 5 days left until the bean arrives. CRAZY!

I had a doctors appointment on Wednesday with the new Midwife at the OBGYN I am having to go to. Because our insurance will not cover any of it we can no longer go to the birthing center we started with. So we had to find an OBGYN that accepts our insurance. The pro's to this OB are that they have a midwife who is pretty okay with many of the requests I have for the labor and care. The bad part is that I may end up not having her deliver me, because all the doctors in the practice cover for each other. But unfortunately its the best we could do, since we cannot afford to cover the entire birthing center bill plus all my labwork and the ultrasound out of pocket. There was just no way.

So although I liked the midwife and found her very pleasant. I ended up waiting for an hour before being put in a room, and then being told that they would not use the dates I gave them they would only use my last menstrual period to date the pregnancy. Which puts me almost two weeks farther along than I am. So I made it very clear that I was very displeased with that, but to no avail. This annoyed me to no end. So some good things and some bad things with this place. I wish I was still at the birthing center. Boo.

So here is the weekly fruit update:
Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.
