But what about YOUR life?

So I havent posted much lately other than baby updates. Not surprising since my life is ALL about the baby right now. But I am still working hard to finish my practicum to complete my masters degree. I started going back to school to work with my implementation group two weeks after Jake was born. And next week is my last week of implementation. So after next week I have two weeks to write up my results section and rewrite my paper in past tense. If I pass this class and my Thesis paper is approved then I will have only one more "hurdle" before I graduate. I have registered for my very last class for my masters degree for July. Its not really a class per say, because there is no work involved. Its actually a class in which I submit my portfolio for approval or denial. Its only pass/fail but of course I have to pass it in order to graduate. So hopefully I can get my portfolio complete before class starts in July.

I go back to work nannying in two weeks. I miss the little boy I nanny for, and will be glad to see everyone again. But I will not be substituting again this year. Its just not worth it for me to put Jake in daycare part time, and I dont think he should be exposed to all those germs so young. But I am really hoping to snag a full-time teaching position next year in the school that I worked at this year (as a sub) so he will have to start full-time daycare at that point. So I need to start researching daycares in the area and reviewing our options.

Otherwise I am doing well. So happy to be able to spend so much time with my little man, and watch him grow. Happy that soon I wont have to worry about writing papers, and reading textbooks and I can concentrate on family and work. I am very blessed.
