Six weeks old!!

Little man will be SIX WEEKS OLD on Saturday!! Where has the time gone? He is growing and changing before our eyes. He just recently grew out of his newborn clothes. And he is definitely squarely in 0-3 month clothes. But I have also bought a few 6 month rompers that fit him lengthwise, although leave room for growing everywhere else. He is just very long, plus the added cloth diaper fluff adds length too. So I am noticing him growing out of his clothes lengthwise first. Hoepfully we will get some use out of his 0-3 month clothes before he grows out of them completely. I just think he is going to be tall like his dad.

Developmentally he seems to be doing pretty well. He seems to be finding his hands more frequently than before. He loves to suck on his fingers/fist and seems so pleased with himself when he finds them. He is not sleeping as much during the day either (unfortunately for me) but is usually content to look around, or be worn while I do chores. He will tolerate tummy time for short periods of time (very short) before crying. He really likes our improvised version of tummy time though where he hangs out on our chest and lifts his head up to stare in our faces. He tolerates this version for much longer. He is also getting tons of practice moving his head/lifting his head when we wear him.

He had his first beach trip. DH and I completed a beach clean up with our Turtle Patrol group. I wore him in a Connecta Solarweave soft-structured carrier and he looked around for awhile before falling asleep. We start our regular turtle patrols this Saturday. We have to be there at 6:30am and are usually done within an hour. So it should be interesting to see how he does. I am praying that I can feed him right before we leave so that he doesnt need to be fed right in the middle of the walk.

We also got our newborn pictures back from our professional photo shoot. They are absolutely amazing. I will post a few below.

His stats are as follows:
