We have been doing well. I suppose its okay for me to write this now, since its been going on for awhile. We are officially "sleeping through the night." It started about 3 weeks ago, and has continued to improve over the past three weeks. He started out by sleeping around 4-5 hours straight through the first "stretch" of the night. So if we put him down around 9 (this time varies nightly, just whenever he is tired) he would sleep until around 1 or 2am. This has since lengthened to about 6ish hours at a time. So he usually sleeps until around 3am or 3:30 and then wakes up for a feed. Then when he is done he goes back to sleep for another 3 or so hours. So things on the sleep front have really improved and I dont feel like the walking dead anymore. YAY for sleep!
He is hitting other milestones too. He is tracking with his eyes, he is cooing and making other noises, and he is really beginning to focus on things. I made a mobile for him that is hanging over his changing table, and we noticed that he LOVES it during diaper changes. He stares at it, and talks to it, and is generally happy to just lay there and look at it. Well I really wanted to get one to hang in his co-sleeper to help make night-times easier. Unfortunately there is literally NO mobile that hangs on a pack and play/co-sleeper. But I scored a used mobile off of Craigslist for his crib. The kid loves it. He will stare and talk to it for 10 or more minutes which is unheard of! Here is a video:

He is nearing 14 pounds now! He is in the 90th percentile exactly for his weight, and the 91st percentile for height. He got his daddy's height that is for sure! So in short we are doing great! I am beginning to enjoy being a mommy more and more. When he smiles at you your heart just about melts into a puddle of goo. Now how about those pictures?
